Client Background

In recognizing and honoring the well-seasoned heritage of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), renowned for nurturing artists for nearly two centuries, HBCU Arts™ launched the inaugural HBCU Arts Festival to showcase the extraordinary talents of HBCU artists.

Founded by Dr. Jolie Rocke, HBCU Arts™ envisions a world where the artistic brilliance of talented students, stellar faculty, and ambitious alums are fully realized. By providing essential tools, resources, and opportunities, the creativity of artists from various disciplines can be nourished, enabling them to flourish.

Objective

HBCU Arts™ needed to establish a compelling brand identity and was unsure on how to effectively utilize social media to engage their target audience and build brand awareness. Knowing that social currency is imperative, they wanted to be strategic with outreach to garner support.
